Hey guys!
So, I was thinking about what to write, and I think I came up with a pretty good idea. I'm going to share my experience with going to a Jonas Brothers concert and meeting them.
About a month before May 7, 2013 (my birthday)
I have been a Jonas Brothers fan (and still am) since around fourth grade. I'd never seen them in concert before or met them. One day my sister told me that they were having a concert near me (not really sure how I didn't know this considering the fact that I'm a fan too but whatever haha) so I immediately tried to find a way to go. My mom finally said I could go and get meet and greet if someone would take me, and it could be my late 16th birthday present. After asking several friends I found a cousin and aunt who would go with me. I was so excited. Literally, every day between that day and the day of the concert I was obsessed. I would watch concert videos on YouTube, try to plan my meet and greet picture, and all of that stuff.

This day was spent with me freaking out and, of course, being my procrasting self, making posters and packing all the stuff I wanted to take.

The. Day. Finally. Came. It was here. The day I waited 7 years for. I. Was. Going. To. Meet. The. Jonas. Brothers. I wanted to get there early to get front row for soundcheck so we left my house pretty early. We stopped at a Mexican restaurant and ate, but the whole time I was just so excited for the concert!!! When we got to the venue it was around 11 am I think? There were a few people in front of us maybe 10-15? Not too bad though. We sat on the sidewalk in the sun for a couple of hours maybe. It didn't seem that bad though.
After that, we got our tickets, and got to go stand inside of a building. We waited in a line again, and then we got our merch, lanyards, and wristbands.
Then we went down an escalator and sat on the floor in another line. We just talked and went on our phones...it was pretty boring just like all of the other lines.
After that, we got to go stand in another line...
and then outside...to stand in another line for soundcheck!!! By this time it was raining a little bit...so, that was horrible, but we could hear Nick sound checking so it was okay.

We finally got to go to our soundcheck seats...and guess what!!! We had first row!!! But then guess what!!! It proceeded to pour down rain so we just waited there with plastic bags over our heads that were provided by the staff people. (And the bags were supposedly from the tour bus, but mine got accidentally thrown away when I brought it home!!!) (This was before we got the plastic bags hahah!)
Me and my cousin decided to scream "RAIN, RAIN GO AWAY!!" hahah I don't know, don't judge us!!! After the rain slowed up they told us we had to move back a few rows because the water was puddling at our feet. We ended up getting moved to third row, but I'm not complaining. (This was my view from third row.)
Soundcheck was so fun. When the guys walked out I was in complete shock. None of it felt real. I'll share a few moments from the soundcheck that I remember. A girl asked Joe for Jack Lawless's number and Joe gave her a number, but I didn't have a chance to save it in my phone hahah. A girl asked Nick to marry her, and he was like, "sure." I forget what else was said, but something was and the girl was like, "what about us???" or something to that effect. It was pretty great hahah. After soundcheck was over we went inside to stand in another line for meet and greet. I was going to meet them!!!! I was going to get an individual picture and a group picture with everyone who went with me. My cousin was first, then my sister, then me, and then our group picture. While my sister was going I could see my cousin. She was smiling at me and waving or something...I don't know haha, and Kevin saw her, turned around, looked at me, and smiled. Next thing I knew, it was my turn!! I walked up to Kevin first and he put out his hand for me to shake and said "Hey!" I was just like "Can I have a hug?" and he said "Sure!" or something and we hugged. I made that really awkward haha I barely remember what I said. I stood between Kevin and Joe. Joe said, "Hey!" and then I said "Hey!" back. Nick said, "Hey nice to meet you!" and instead of saying my name or anything I just said, "Hey!" I'm not sure why I went completely blank after planning so much to say. I guess I was just in shock. But I got my picture and then we got our group picture.
My aunt walked over to Nick and was like, "Do you see spots?" and he was so confused hahah. She was like, "I mean from the camera flashing so many times." but I don't even know how he replied probably with a "Haha, yeah *laugh*" but I don't remember. Then we got our posters and had some free time. We were going to go put our stuff in the car and on our way there we just discussed meeting them and freaked out. I mean, I realize it was a really fast meet and greet, but it was still so amazing. After we put our stuff up we went to go eat dinner. We walked down a few blocks and ate at Jimmy Johns. When we finished we went back to the venue to go to our seats. When we got there Mike Tompkins was DJing for a while and then Karmin came out. After they were both done the Jonas Brothers came out and we had an amazing time. I mean, the whole concert was amazing not just the Jonas Brothers. I'm not really sure what to say about the concert itself other than it was amazing, but I'll just share some specific memories. There were some girls behind us who got drunk within the first 10 minutes and were spilling their alcohol all over my sister and cousin hahah. They left during the beginning of the concert and came back at the end? Not sure if they passed out in the bathroom or what hahah. A girl behind my cousin poured her whole drink down my cousin's back and when my cousin turned around the girl was like, "What???? It's just lemonade!!!" I died laughing, it was pretty funny...well not for my cousin haha. Oh, and when we went to the bathroom and I later saw a picture was posted on Instagram by Mike of him and the boys in front of it and I was like, "I WENT IN THAT BATHROOM." to myself haha. Also, it was really cute when the girls took popcorn to Nick and he let them come on stage and hug him. The quote for this concert was "Making memories" because it kept raining and stuff. So, whenever something happened we were just like "MAKING MEMORIES!!!!" The concert ended around 11 pm I think, so we were at the venue for about 12 hours. I wanted to get merch, but the line was long and my aunt was ready to leave. That also means I didn't get to try to meet anyone else, but I'll live I guess haha!

My camera died within the first five minutes of the concert and I accidentally deleted everything I took, but my cousin and sister took videos and pictures. They gave me some not all but here's some of the pictures I have:

It was an amazing day and I love all of the people involved so much! Even though the Jonas Brothers broke up, I'll continue to support them!
